Aerial Assemblies — Figure 8

Radius MicroGlide™ and Miniglide™ aerial constructions are Figure-8 microduct assemblies designed to be suspended between poles with spans between 50-100m, depending on environmental conditions. They are available in either metallic or all dielectric constructions. Dielectric constructions are suitable for use alongside power lines.

The Figure-8 design consists of a strength member made of steel or GRP supporting a combination of PE low friction microducts surrounded with an external PE sheath. The external sheath is UV stabilised for longevity and the circular profile minimises environmental loading.

All Radius microducts feature our low friction and low static permanent inner layer which delivers class-leading cable blowing performance. In addition, our microducts can be supplied with either smooth or ribbed inner walls according to your preference.

The duct assemblies are available in several configurations with various ducts (OD/ID) for the installation of drop fibers and distribution cables into the same infrastructure.
