Aerial Drop Tube — ADSS

Radius ADSS (All Dielectric Self Supporting) drop tube is an all-dielectric self-supporting design comprising a single MicroGlide™ or MiniGlide™ HDPE microduct surrounded by a non-metallic aramid strength member and a UV stabilised HDPE outer jacket. The external sheath is UV stabilised for longevity and the circular profile minimises environmental loading.

This ADSS design is suitable for customer drops overhead, direct buried or alongside walls. For aerial application, it can be used between poles with spans between 50-100m, depending on environmental conditions.

All Radius microducts feature our low friction and low static permanent inner layer which delivers class-leading cable blowing performance. In addition, our microducts can be supplied with either smooth or ribbed inner walls according to your preference.

We offer ADSS in a variety of microducts (OD/ID) for the installation of drop fibre and distribution cables into the same infrastructure.
