Project Solution

Doocey North East came to Radius having secured a project for Brighton & Hove City Council to build a 10,000 metres single route telecoms infrastructure using main duct which was then to be subducted with a multiduct microduct assembly.

Mark Riley, Operations Director at Dooceys was looking for a cost effective easy to install main duct and Radius recommended their HDPE Twinwall 110mm product which offers many benefits over PVC. Twinwall is a corrugated duct made from HDPE. With high crush resistance, it is lighweight, flexible, easily recyclable and cost effective.

The product was specified with the end client and customised to accomodate their specific request for Magenta coloured duct.

Radius successfully delivered the Twinwall Ducting to site within agreed timeframes and all parties were pleased with the new colour and the ease with installation.

“Radius Systems have continuously provided a reliable and trustworthy service. Aligned with their managerial project-specific knowledge and expertise, the RadBox™ has provided a strong, secure and future-proofed result to the housing of critical infrastructure.”
